I gave up on her after reading three in a row that left me wishing I hadn't bothered. Trace was the last one I actually read by her. It will take a lot to get me to read anything by her again.Literary Felinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13079276242303738719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2879042817109440814.post-80251861713902690382008-02-15T07:27:00.000-08:002008-02-15T07:27:00.000-08:00Ditto for me on Cornwell. Like you, I've read and loved 'The Shipping News', but I've never felt inclined to pick up anything else by Proulx which means I ought to be asking myself why.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2879042817109440814.post-75208389106713077982008-02-14T17:26:00.000-08:002008-02-14T17:26:00.000-08:00I have heard similar experiences about Cornwell, b...I have heard similar experiences about Cornwell, but I haven't read any of her books myself. On the other hand, I am right there with you on Dan Brown. I loved The Da Vinci Code, but every book after that felt like the same exact storyline with the same characters. What a disappointment.

Happy BTT!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09832026911084781492noreply@blogger.com
